Lords & Labradors are an online retailer specialising in high quality dog and puppy products and accessories. We were approached in 2017 to manage their website support, develop a newly branded website design and work on a number of new website developments to help grow their online sales.

Our first task was to migrate the website over to our website care plan packages and complete a full performance audit of the site. We then implemented various changes to ensure that the website was running smoothly.
We partnered with their Google Adwords specialist to ensure that the website was sending the correct product data into the Google Merchant Centre so that adverts could be optimised correctly for the site.
The next step was to design a new website theme to match the new branding and ensure that the design was consistent across both the front end of the website and also any marketing and transactional (order related) emails.
We worked through a full SEO structure audit, which included a restructuring of the website page structure and a full remapping of over 2000 URL’s to ensure that it did not affect the page rankings.
We developed a custom ‘Subscribe and Save’ feature for their range of pet food products which creates recurring subscriptions for their customers, automating the repeat order process and increasing recurring sales.
We integrated a new email marketing automation system with the website to target customers with specific email campaigns, including abandoned cart automations. As part of this process we created new email opt-in forms with a promotional code which led to a 359% increase in coupon code sales.
We configured enhanced eCommerce analytics on the website and over a 6 month process monitored the conversion rate of the website, performing A/B tests to optimise the conversion rate and increase the website sales.

Overall, we have seen an increase in sales from the site and it is performing well.
As a result of the new Google shopping feed, traffic from Paid Adverts increased, which resulted in an increase in sales from paid traffic.
After optimising the checkout process we saw an increase in the website conversion rate of 30.75%.
